The demand for luxury real estate is growing. In the TriCity, the increasing interest of real estate clients can be noticed in expensive properties located at best locations in the TriCity. Nowe Orłowo, Sopot, Gdynia’s city centre, and the seaside zone of Gdańsk are the locations that attract greatest interest. Is the TriCity’s market of premium apartments for rental attractive?

It is certainly attractive, which is proven by investment projects that have been already completed, are being executed, or are being planned. Best apartments disappear from the offer of developers immediately. They often emerge on the secondary market, because they can be resold with profit, usually serving to residents of other areas of Poland or foreigners as their second home. They are frequently purchased for short- or long-term rental. The attractiveness of the market is shown by the fact that the demand is in excess of the supply. Not enough premium apartments are being constructed to fulfil the actual demand.

Let us assume that I own a 100 sq.m. apartment at an excellent location in the Lower Sopot. It is a luxury apartment with excellent furnishing. I take a decision to let it. What options do I have?

But why should I come to you, if I can place an advertisement at different advertising portals and rent the apartment to tourists?

You can certainly do that and you can be sure of finding customers, as Sopot is a holiday resort and a tourist city. In this case, the minimum tenancy is for 24 months. Another client from the IT sector would like to rent a 3-4 room apartment in the Lower Sopot. A client from a law firm has the budget of 10 thousand PLN/month to rent a four-room apartment in Nowe Orłowo or Sopot, and a European consulate is ready to pay even more for a luxurious home of high standard by the seaside. Apparently, the demand is high, our clients have high expectations, and they are ready to pay much for luxury, comfort, and a good location.
