In the Western Europe, lofts have been popular for several decades. In Poland, they are in their heyday only now. Lofts are apartments with large, open, and high spaces, designed in former industrial premises. They have their contemporary equivalents, soft lofts, constructed in modern buildings from scratch. Why are they a good place to move in?

There are hard and soft versions of lofts. Hard lofts are residential premises created in existing post-industrial buildings, such as old warehouses, factories, granaries, steelworks, and breweries. They feature large open spaces, raw interiors dominated by glass, steel, and stone, high ceilings, large windows, and factory lighting.

Soft lofts are built by developers as greenhouse investments and they combine an industrial style with modernist climate, large spaces, and a high standard of finish. They reflect a compromise between the austerity of a loft and original architectural solutions with warmer elements. In addition to higher floors and separated but mixed residential parts, windows that reach the floors, and terraces on roofs, there are elements that break the raw character of a classic loft — wooden finish or a façade in a warm colour.

Lofts enable to introduce a note of artistic style, and they are associated with extraordinary comfort, prestige, the sense of liberty, and unrestricted freedom. An advantage of hard and soft lofts over traditional apartments and flats is their large and open space, very high ceilings, and plenty of natural light. They are ideal not only for artists, but for families with children as well.

Lofts and soft lofts are an avant-garde, but a very attractive one. Apartments of this type are purchased by residents who value an original style and innovative solutions. Many people buy them as investments as well, because such unique apartments show a much higher, extraordinary return rate.

This is exactly the case of the loft available in our offer. The soft loft of the area of 147 sq.m. is situated on the fifth and sixth floors of a modern apartment building, GARNIZON Lofts & Apartments. Looking through the 6m high window you can admire the marvellous panorama of Gdańsk and the Bay of Gdańsk. The impression is even stronger owing to the terrace (19 sq.m.) on the top floor of the building, with two entrances, from a mezzanine and a study.

The loft has an open space, with an excellent functional division. There is a kitchen with a large dining room, a living room, a bathroom, and a hall downstairs. Space above the living room is open. Wooden shelf stairs lead to the mezzanine with an open bedroom, a study, and a walk-in wardrobe. The loft is extraordinarily light, owing to gigantic glass areas and the fantastic exposure to 3 directions. The lighting of the interior changes during different times of the day, which makes an extraordinary impression.

The apartment is provided with built-in furniture and is ready for moving in. It does require furnishings. Lasota Business Consulting can become your agent if the apartment is purchased as investment within corporate rental. The apartment has been let for PLN 10.000-12,000 per month. An investment plan is available upon request. Make an appointment for viewing and feel the exceptional climate, space, and character of this location!
